About Library
The present library building was started as a two-storied Golden Jubilee Building in 1978. Later it was renovated as a three-storied building to meet the needs of the increasing programs. The library is a member of Association of Theological Education in South East Asia (ATESEA) and Forum of Asian theological Librarian (ForATL). The library has a collection 41000 appropriate titles, which is made up of printed and electronic resources.
The library annually develops its collection with more recent and updated publications on various subjects such as Feminist and Asian theological resources, Biblical Studies, Theological Studies, Mission Studies, Christian Education, Peace Studies, Inter-Faith Studies, Historical and Denominational Studies, Pastoral Studies, Community Development Studies, Music, and various reference works, where the titles were selected by the respective faculty members in order not only to meet the requirements of the school’s curriculum but also for the benefits of the researchers using the library. Selected books on Gender Studies, Peace Studies, and Interfaith Studies of the Gender Studies Center, peace Studies Center, and Judson Research Center are also kept at the library.

Rules & Regulation
1. Only students and staff members form the member schools and theological Institutes of the association for Theological Education in Myanmar (ATEM) and MIT alumni/ae are allowed to use MIT Library.2. Valid Identity Cards are required for borrowing books. They are not transferable. Books may be borrowed or returned during circulation hours only: between 10:30 am and 6:00 pm. Out of Circulation Hour the books can return in book drop outside of the library.
3. Each member is allowed to check out as follow; Doctorate and M.Th – 10, M.Div Final – 5, and Others – 3. Extension may be made if the books are not required by other.
4. In case of failure to return books on the due date, fines will be charged at the rate of Kyats 500 per day for each book.
5. when borrowed books are lost, they may be replaced or a triple amount of the cost shall be charged.
6. Reference books and Periodicals cannot be checked out. Reserved books can be checked out overnight.
7. all books must be returned before the final examination of the Second Semester. Graduation students must return books by the date set for thesis typed and bound in order to be eligible for the conferring of respective degrees.
